Hook feet under the brace and lie on the incline bench, hips and knees bent
Cross your arms on your chest or hold a plate against your chest
Flex and twist simultaneously — rotate your torso to one side as you rise
Raise your arms over your opposite knee at the top
Return until shoulders contact the bench — alternate sides each rep

Step-by-step technique
Hook your feet under the foot or ankle brace and lie on an incline bench with your hips and knees bent.
Cross your arms on your chest or hold a weight plate against your chest.
Engage your core and brace your lower back against the bench.
Flex your waist and twist your torso to one direction while raising it from the bench.
Raise your crossed arms over your opposite knee at the top.
Return until the back of your shoulders contacts the bench.
Twist to the opposite side on the next rep.
Continue alternating sides for the desired number of reps.
