INCLINE TWISTING CRUNCH

Hook feet under the foot bar and lie on the incline bench, hands behind neck.
Flex and twist the waist to bring one elbow toward the opposite knee.
Return until shoulder blades contact the incline board.
Alternate the twist direction each rep.
Avoid pulling on the neck — let the obliques do the work.

Step-by-step technique
Hook your feet under the foot bar of an incline bench and lie back with hands lightly placed behind your neck.
Flex your waist and twist your torso to bring one elbow toward the opposite knee. Squeeze the oblique at the top.
Lower yourself back until your shoulder blades contact the bench. Immediately twist to the other side on the next rep. Continue alternating for the desired reps.
