Exercise
DYNAMIC CHEST STRETCH
Stand
Squat
Form cues
Keep the movement smooth and controlled — do not jerk the arms back
The opening phase should feel like a chest stretch, not a shoulder strain
Keep the core engaged and posture tall throughout
This is a dynamic stretch — best used as a warm-up, not a post-workout hold
Gradually increase the range of motion as the chest warms up
Instructions
Step-by-step technique
Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart and arms at your sides.
Bring both hands together in front of the chest, palms touching.
Quickly and smoothly sweep both arms backward as far as possible, opening the chest wide.
Return the hands to the front and repeat in a continuous swinging motion.
Perform the desired number of reps at a controlled pace.
